Another Child Saved by Cannabis Oil?!

This mom’s 19-month-old daughter made a miraculous recovery when she gave her cannabis oil after the doctors said the baby had only days to live.

Rachael Garner, 33, was informed by doctors that her daughter Nettie Raenetta, who suffers with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, had just a few days to live after she came down with pneumonia. Ms Garner would not except this and done what many parents are doing now in a desperate bid to save their children’s lives. Ms Garner went online and researched alternative therapies and she came across many articles, medical journals and testimonials describing cannabis oil as a cure. Ms Garner said: “I couldn’t believe it, they didn’t even give her a chance. I knew cannabis had helped others and after doing some research myself, I was convinced that this treatment would not only be the best option, but the safest. “Just days’ after giving Nettie cannabis, her color came back. It was like she woke up”. Nettie was born with severe Hydrocephalus which is a rare genetic brain disorder, it caused her head to swell with massive water instead of brain tissue. Apart from having an underdeveloped brain, Nettie was born at full term and was declared healthy. Due to the lack of brain matter Nettie was exposed to other health risks and within weeks she had developed major disorders including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, developmental delay and partial blindness and paralysis. She then went on to suffer five different types of violent seizures a day and her frail body was at times completely dependent on a life support machine to stay alive. Ms Garner said that she was aware of the medicinal properties of cannabis oil, but had not considered it as living in Florida the drug is “outlawed, prohibited and demonized”. It was only when Rachael had given up all hope that she decided to contact Stephen Carmen of Carmen CBD Oils, this is a cancer and epilepsy treatment foundation which helps families that can’t afford medicine to obtain free cannabis oils. Rachael was supplied with cannabidiol (CBD), a compound in cannabis that has 0% tetrahydrocannabinol, better known as THC, the psychoactive compound in marijuana that provides the ‘high’ associated with the drug. Nettie was given her first dose on July 2nd. Rachael claims that since her first dose the toddler’s seizures stopped entirely and she is now able to hold the weight of her own head. Ms Garner said: “There is no doubt in my mind Nettie would be dead today if it wasn’t for Carmen CBD Oils reaching out to me to help. She is grabbing, playing and even interacting with moaning and coos, which is incredible. We have a long way to go, but I’m willing and she is still fighting”.

Every week we are hearing how cannabis has helped patients with multiple sclerosis, cancer, epilepsy, chronic and severe pain conditions (i). Patients and now doctors are finally realizing medical cannabis as a ‘real option’. From June 2014 Medical marijuana is reportedly legal in 23 US states. In Florida, a bill known as the ‘Charlotte’s Web Medical Hemp Act 2014′ was signed and passed on June 16, this allows patients to use a strain of the drug to treat conditions such as epilepsy, Lou Gehrig’s Disease and cancer. The bill was named after seven-year-old Colorado girl, Charlotte Figi, who suffers from a rare form of epilepsy called Dravet syndrome.
